Happy Spring 2023! (For those who are NEW) What’s most important to know about Valley View Cemani? We take raising Cemani VERY seriously and have the utmost pride in what we do. Our moto: “Black is Everything….because Everything is Black.” Over the years, we’ve adhered to a regimented breeding program, set the pace by having the country’s highest standards, and gained tons of Cemani experience along the way. We’re also happy to share our knowledge, answer questions, and offer you tips along the way. This is our way of preserving the breed, by offering folks the opportunity to own their very own 100% black, true-to-heritage Cemani from us here at Valley View.
The process begins with the founding breeder stock here in our trusted breeding program. The adults are fed a high quailty diet, high in omegas, as well as vitamin and mineral supplements, to ensure the health and necessary nutrition is being passed on from the mothers to the eggs. Those eggs are then delicately collected, incubated, monitored, and finally hatched in intricately planned micro-batches. The pure-black baby chicks are carefully inspected, head to toe, and hand-selected after they hatch. Remember, these chicks are the product of years of breeding, testing lineages, and selecting only the finest genetics that have moved forward in the program. Therefore, we ONLY sell the darkest and highest quality chicks. Each year, we only release a limited # of chicks. Please be mindful, we quickly SOLD OUT in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
We’re coming into Spring of 2023! New orders will be accepted first-come, first-served. Folks are welcome to place an order, as new orders will be dateed, timestamped, as well as locked-in to the current advertised price. Orders are processed in chronological order. Please be patient and allow us time to process your order. Depending on the size of the order, new orders will be fulfilled within 1-2 weeks. Please note, these are unsexed Day Old Ayam Cemani Chicks and sold as “straight run,” and the chances of recieving males and females is 50:50.
We offer a 100% Live Chick Arrival Guarantee. Tracking information is also provided and all orders are shipped via USPS EXPRESS, (not Priority) on Monday’s to arrive in 1-3 days.
Minimum Order. Premium Valley View Ayam Cemani Chicks are currently priced at $199 per chick. The minimum order is (3) day-old chicks. You may order fewer than (3) chicks via a special order and depending on your location, but it is not a practice we recommend and the Live Chick Arrival Guarantee will not apply. We recommend that (3) chicks are the minimum number required to provide the warmth and cushioning for a safe shipment and so the buyer would then assume the risk of loss on any order fewer than (3).
24-Hour Live Guarantee. If you place the minimum order of (3) chicks, Valley View Ayam Cemani guarantees you will receive the number of birds you ordered and that they are guaranteed to survive the transit for the first 24 hours after you receive them. If before 24 hours you have fewer live birds than you ordered, we will send out replacement chicks the following week. You must notify us of the loss within 24 hours after you receive the chicks and send documented evidence.
Shipping. Up to 12 day-old chicks can be placed in a box.
